A magnificent game of cricket which came down to the last ball saw Sarah Bryce’s Scotland continue their winning ways in Bangkok beating Thailand with two wickets.

Batting first, Thailand navigated the Scotland attack well with Nannapat Koncharoenkai 31 and Natthakan Chantham 30, with the two putting up a 44-run stand.

Katherine Fraser and Priyanaz Chatterji demonstrated their wicket-taking prowess taking two each, Scotland took three wickets in the last four overs to restrict the hosts to 136-5. 

The visitors were in for a tough chase with a mere 42 runs on the board and two wickets down after 8.5 overs. In comes the skipper, Bryce walked in and played a crucial knock of 31 (21) top-scoring for her country keeping the game alive. 

Rachel Slater came in with the required run rate at 11 runs per over, with 33 required off 18 balls, she scored 21 runs in 8 balls with her clutch performance completely turning the tide against the hosts and helping Scotland secure the victory. 

Slater was awarded Player of the Match for bringing Scotland back into the game with her clutch knock, before her last over dismissal leaving Scotland requiring three runs in four balls with Hannah Reiney got a single off the final ball and winning the game.

Scotland now find themselves on top in the T20I Quadrangular Series with two wins in as many matches with Namibia in their next fixture on Monday, 17 November 2025.
