Scotland win by 7 wickets (34 balls remaining)

Scotland clinched the Women's T20 Quadrangular series after securing their third victory, beating Namibia on Monday by seven wickets.

Namibia won the toss and chose to bat first. Rachel Slater struck first and put Namibia on the back foot which ended up being the story of the match.

Opener Kayleen Green put up incredible resistance scoring 42 runs. The second highest scorer in the innings was Merczelry Gorrasses with 12 runs as no other player for Namibia was able to achieve a double digit score.

Scotland took consistent wickets and never let Namibia get back into the match with Player of the match, Slater finishing with figures of 3-11 in four overs.

Priyanaz Chatterji asked questions the batters did not have answers to conceding a mere seven runs across her four overs and bagging two wickets.

Skipper Sarah Bryce had a busy day behind the stumps taking four catches as Namibia put up 81-9 on the board after 20 overs. A below par total that was never going to challenge the Scottish side.

Scotland lost Ailsa Lister early but a 56-run partnership between Ellen Watson 30 and top-scorer of the tournament so far Darcey Carter 22 set up the platform for Megan McColl 14* (6) to finish the game with 34 balls to spare.

If Bryce 11* (11) had to make a wish, it would probably be for Scotland to carry this run of form into the ICC Emerging Nations trophy and into the Global Qualifier in January. Scotland will play their opening match of the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy against Uganda on Thursday 20 November.
