Oakvale Capital, a London-based investment bank, has been named the exclusive investment banker for the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). The ETPL is an ICC-approved T20 cricket tournament, jointly owned by Bollywood actor and sports entrepreneur Abhishek Bachchan, and receives support from Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland, and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association.

Oakvale Capital, known for its expertise in sports and entertainment finance, will assist ETPL in raising capital, securing franchise buyers, and developing strategic partnerships. This collaboration marks a significant step in introducing cricket to the European corporate and investment sectors.

The ETPL aims to blend world-class cricket with a distinct European experience, featuring elite talent, immersive fan engagement, and data-driven innovation. The league is set to debut in 2026, with six teams representing cities across Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.

This development underscores the growing popularity of T20 cricket in Europe. The partnership with Oakvale Capital is expected to accelerate ETPL's growth and establish it as a premier cricket league in Europe.

The league is scheduled to be launched in the summer of 2026.
