Luxembourg will make use of home advantage, while Austria aims to assert themselves, but the spotlight is on Switzerland's remarkable unbeaten run.

Luxembourg will be playing their first international fixture of 2025, their last tourney was in the Women’s T20I Quadrangular series in Denmark 2024. Luxembourg lost all three fixtures. Arti Priya returns as captain, the 42-year-old has 21 wickets in 13 innings and is their one of the most experienced players.

Since making their T20I debut in May 2025, Switzerland's women’s team has won all nine games they have played, including a 10-wicket victory over Finland in the final in their last match.

Their side will be led by captain Danashi Medagoda and vice captain Meghna Rajan, who has impressed with her all-round prowess, capturing 11 wickets in nine matches and an economy of 2.89. If this was scarcely believable her numbers with the bat are otherworldly too, an average of 126, with two half-centuries and a strike rate 110 is great, but to just be 16 years old is jaw dropping.

This series marks the beginning of a new chapter as Austria welcomes their new captain Priya Sabu. The 27-year-old has been a key figure in the Austrian cricket set-up with four half centuries to her name. She is primed to make her 50th T20I appearance for the country as Austria take the field on Saturday.
