Gaby Lewis, Orla Prendergast and Kathryn Bryce delivered standout performances on Tuesday, powering their teams to crucial wins and setting the stage for an exciting semi-final lineup in the Women's One Day Cup.
Ireland captain Lewis struck a masterful 75 (53) steering Lancashire to a thrilling 5-wicket win over Warwickshire at Sale. While turning out for the Blaze, Lewis’ national team deputy, Prendergast, compiled a solid 67 alongside Scotland’s Bryce, who made 66.
At Sale, Warwickshire posted 283-7, with Dutch international Sterre Kalis, contributing 43, with weather intervening during Lancashire's chase, the revised target was recalibrated to 172 from 22 overs via the DLS method. Lancashire secured the victory with five balls to spare, primarily through Lewis's commanding knock and her crucial 106-run partnership with Seren Smale.
Over in Nottingham, The Blaze restricted Durham to 252-9 with Bryce picking up two wickets and ending with figures of 2-44. The Blaze managed to chase the total with four-wickets and 15 balls to spare. Coming together at 64 for 2, Prendergast and Bryce joined hands for 107-run third wicket stand that laid the foundation for the win.

Lancashire in third find themselves one point behind The Blaze, with the last league fixtures scheduled for Saturday, Lancashire face table toppers Hampshire next while The Blaze face Essex who are currently in last place. This is followed by the semi finals on 17 September, where the winners will contest in the finals on 21st September promising an exciting time ahead.
