The ICC has confirmed the final distribution of the recently concluded ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with a staggering amount of US$ 11.25 million as the Players’ Prize Money pool, in line with the record-breaking increase to ICC prize money made in 2024.

The 2026 edition of the marquee tournament saw co-hosts India lift the trophy in front of a massive crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the champions India receiving the maximum amount from the prize pool with $2,639,423

All European nations achieved minimum two points over the course of the tournament, earning them an increment from the base prize money of $225,000 with additional prize money earned based on win bonuses and final team placements.

Scotland finished third in their group, while Ireland had a match rained out against Zimbabwe but finished fourth alongside Italy and Netherlands in their respective groups.
