Harry Tector continued his great run of form scoring a world-class 96* giving Ireland an unassailable 2-0 against Italy. 

Tector fell short of a century but showed his character, as the batter ran a quick leg bye in the final over to get himself off strike, fighting for every run for the team.

Despite half-centuries by Wayne Madsen and Anthony Mosca Italy fell 24 runs short.
