After a crucial ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, due to her standout performances, Ireland captain, Gaby Lewis is nominated for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month.

Lewis scored 251 runs at a strike rate of 124.87 in six T20Is. Her highest score came in the form of 73 against Bangladesh and she enjoyed consistent performances as she finished as the top scorer of the tournament scoring 276 runs across the qualifier as she led her side to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales.

She is nominated alongside USA bowler Tara Norris who took 11 wickets as the USA missed out on qualification and Bangladesh batter Sobhana Mostray who scored 229 runs.
