Namibia elected to field first and made early inroads, reducing the Netherlands to 72 for 3. The breakthroughs, however, only brought together two of the side's most experienced performers.

Bas de Leede once again showcased his class with a magnificent 97 off 92 deliveries, narrowly missing out on a century after striking five fours and three sixes. Calm under pressure, the Dutch all-rounder rebuilt the innings before accelerating through the middle overs to put the hosts back in control.

Captain Scott Edwards played an equally important role at the other end. His composed 40 from 60 balls provided the stability De Leede needed, allowing the pair to rebuild after the early setbacks. A late flourish from Logan van Beek, whose unbeaten 18 came from just nine deliveries, ensured the Netherlands finished strong on 251 for 6 from their 50 overs.

If the batting innings laid the foundation, the Dutch bowling attack made sure the total was never seriously threatened.

Aryan Dutt and Logan van Beek produced outstanding spells, each claiming four wickets to dismantle Namibia's chase. Dutt's accurate off-spin helped him return figures of 4 for 35 from his full 10 overs, while Van Beek's incisive seam bowling earned him 4 for 29, with both bowlers repeatedly striking just as Namibia looked to rebuild. Kyle Klein and Zach Lion-Cachet also chipped in with a wicket apiece as the pressure never relented.

Namibia found resistance through Louren Steenkamp, who battled to 68 from 87 balls, while Malan Kruger added 36 and captain Gerhard Erasmus contributed 27. But regular breakthroughs prevented any sustained partnerships, and the visitors were eventually dismissed for 193 in 47.5 overs.

De Leede's outstanding all-round contribution earned him the Player of the Match award, capping another influential display from one of the Netherlands' most dependable performers.

More importantly, the victory maintained the Dutch side's strong momentum in the home tri-series and reinforced their credentials as genuine contenders for automatic progression from League 2.
