Eight European cricketers snapped up by franchises in The Hundred

The Hundred held its first auction on Thursday, 12 March ahead of the 2026 season scheduled to begin on 21 July in London. 

Among the European players that went under the hammer, six players from Scotland, one from Jersey while another player from Netherlands were selected to represent various franchises.

Jersey batter Asa Tribe received the highest pay day among all other stars from Europe with a whopping £70,000 while Kathryn Bryce will ply here trade for Manchester Super Giants for £65,000. This will be Tribe's debut season for the competition while Bryce has had three seasons with erstwhile Manchester Originals and a

Women's Hundred:

Sterre Kalis (NED) - London Spirit £27,500 

Kathryn Bryce (SCO) - Manchester Originals £65,000

Sarah Bryce (SCO) - Welsh Fire £25,000

Rachel Slater (SCO) - Sunriser Leeds £26,000 

Ailsa Lister (SCO) - Trent Rockets £30,000.

Kirstie Gordon (SCO)  - MI London £55,000

Players can still be picked as Wildcard players later this year heading into the start of the season.
